Our Story
In early 2018, Voxally co-founder Lars Murray was looking for the music industry’s next wave. From his experience in digital music marketing since the early days of the web, Lars realized that the explosion in music listening on voice assistants and smart speakers had the potential to define the next chapter in digital music’s evolution.
But how could artists ride this wave? Why was it, when we asked questions of our smart assistants about our favorite artists, we never heard answers from those artists? And where were the easy tools for artists to create ‘voice websites’, ‘voice email lists’, or voice ‘social posts’?
In early 2019, Lars teamed up with former Pandora colleague, Will Jackson and former Vevo CTO Alex Nunes to co-found Voxally. Since then, our team has been working hard to create our first products, and to evangelize the voice opportunity within the creative community.
